Has anyone here intentionally, and successfully, committed memetic warfare? The resource I use to define it is Everything2.com (it's a short and sweet definition). My question is, how exactly does one go about determining a 'pacifist' meme, and how exactly to properly attach a 'rider' meme?

That's an interesting concept, sort of like the RNC's concept of "re-framing an argument."

It looks to me like the idea is to determine what button they are pushing, and expose it by finding another, opposite button to depressurize their argument. It would require that the original statement be fairly aggressively against something.

The counter button would depend upon the context, but I'd start by appealing to the base of Maslow's "Hierarchy of Needs." These are the root concepts of human survival, and they are powerful indeed. They are Food, Shelter, and Sex.
